Default Fully built GSR motor 218whp, 161tq. Will this make a reliable DD?

Hey guys I might be purchasing a 00 coupe with the following motor. It was just built about 5k miles ago. It is pushing 218whp and 161wtq.

This will be my daily driver, so I need it to be totally reliable. Is this possible with a motor this built? Does it require any extra maintence over a stock b series motor? I am coming from a basically stock b16, so this will be a big increase in power for me.

Also this motor is not sleeved. One of my friends said that this motor needs to be sleeved since it's running an 84mm bore. Is this true? How will the idle be with the Blox Stage 2's? Is this still considered a GSR motor?

Lastly, will this car get bad gas mileage? About what MPG should I see with this setup?

Here's the mod list.
Engine-
Block: fully built by JG Engine dynamics w/ receipts to prove.
Block hot tanked & cleaned.Deck block surface microfinished.
Micropolished crank & ultrabalanced. Bore of 84mm.
Power honed & finished w/ Sunnen AN300 stones.
ACL Bearings for main, rods & thrust. JGE 4340 ultralight beam rods.
84mm CP pistons & CP rings. New rear main seal. Type R oil pump.
84mm Cometic head gasket 0.51mm.
Fully assembled by JG & fished off in JG gold, Powdercoat Block.

Head: Fully built by Extreme Cylinder Heads, of Palm City, FL.
Blox Stage II cams.
Ferrera valves. Skunk 2 Titanium retainers. Dual valve springs.
Ported & Polished. 3 Angle valve job.
ARP Head studs. JGE 6-bolt cam gears.
Password JDM cam seal.

Bolt-ons Ect:
Blox intake manifold.
Comptech USA cold air intake. (Full Kit)
Vision 4 to 1 Headers.
Apexi Full Catback Exhaust. (World Sport)
Mishimoto radiator w/ blue samco sport hoses.
Blox fuel pressure regulator. B & M fuel pressure gauge.
Golden Eagle fuel rail. RC 310cc injectors. NGK wires.
accel performance coil. Hasport motor mounts. Password JDM cooling plate.

Engine Management-
Hondata S200..Moderate tune by MASE.
11.6 compression ratio.

Does this look like it could be leaking oil?

Ok, its a GSR. It's gotta be sleeved. But I would find out for sure.
218 whp and 161 wtq sounds like a very will put together 2.0 L engine.

Are you sure Its a 84mm gsr unsleeved? I don't think that jg would build something like that and if that were the case it wouldn't be streetable.....maybe its a b20 and you have it confused I dunno?

In my opinion, I would not trust this as DD.

Thats what I thought. 161wtq doesnt sound like a stock sleeve GSR.

84mm on a stock sleeved gsr block.. not safe for DD.. walls would be way to thin...

Looks like that block used to be turbo also. The block is shaved on the outside usually for clearance of a turbo. It could be that it used to be boosted, then cracked a sleeved, then got sent out for sleeving. 84mm on a gsr block stock wouldnt last very long

If I decided to get this car/motor, how much would it be to have it sleeved?

that motor has to be sleeved already, as others said, i doubt JG would even touch a stock sleeve bored out to 84mm motor.

That's what I was thinking. They are a reputable shop and I couldnt believe it when he said it was on stock sleeves.

I'm gonna try to find out. If it happens to be sleeved, will the motor make a good DD? Anything I should be careful with? I'm a newb with built N/A motors.

Yup, should be good after you sleeve it. Thats what i am going to do to my b18c. Can't go past 82mm i heard without running into problems with the stock sleeves. With some sleeves you can go up to like 86mm. 85mm if you want extra room for boring out if something goes wrong. I wouldn't recommend 84mm on stock sleeves though.

It looks as though the black has seen a Turbo, from the notches next to the Engine codes stamp...

x2.

To answer your question, I drove a 12.5:1 open-decked B20 for 6mnths in my ITR and I had a 350hp turbo Civic that i daily drove for a year. I think if the tune and the parts are there, it would seem to be just fine for DD duty.

LOL, no thanks man I don't like dealing with shipping. I like to purchase locally.

So how much would it be to sleeve this motor, and how do I know if it's damaged already from not being sleeved? There is only 2k miles on it since being built.

Also, is there only 1 JG Engine Dyn? How would I get in contact with them about this motor?

block might be sleeved cause from the looks of it someone has trimmed the block where most cast iron exhaust manifolds sit the turbo. so maybe it was sleeved turbo motor and guy went all motor after?
