I bought a set of injectors on h-t last year that were suppost to be 510cc yellow top injectors. I just got around to getting them out of the box and sending them out for flowtest/cleaning and they came back as 222cc/min. Less than the factory 240cc/min! I must have been sold some other yellow top injector that is much smaller, which makes me mad I have like $100 tied up in some smaller than stock injectors

Does anyone have KNOWN 510cc injectors and can look at the numbers on them? Mine say:

B182H
INP-050

 

real yellow tops from the evo will say B510L on one side, and the other will have INP-015 from the sets I personally have seen.

the injectors you have sound like they are the yellow tops from early dodge/ plymouth colts from 88-90 among others like the 89-90 eagle summit, 89-90 mitsubishi mirage, 90-94 hyundai's excel/ scoupe, etc. that all used these injectors in their shared 1.5 liter motor of the late 80's- early 90's.

sorry to say this but I think you got shafted... which is . sorry to be the one to tell you this bad news.

pm the seller if he is still on here and see if he responds (if he is an honest seller he might). if not... pm him that he is either a scamming bag of **** or at the least an idiot for talking out of his *** about what he thought he had. it wont get you anywhere but at least you will feel better a little getting to vent.

 

Yeah after some searching the web I confirmed they are the crap 1.5L injectors I PM'ed the seller about it, we will see what comes of it
