I sent Zaino a check last week and received the package today. I bought several products including Z1, Z2, Z6, clay bar, glass cleaner, and rubber cleaners.
My car's finish has a few small original swirl marks from the dealer (original owner didn't do a wonderful job with maintenance) but the finish is still good. I'm going to try the Zaino on a Miata later (this hasn't had any polishing at all...we knew to make sure the dealer didn't "wash" or "polish" the car).
I'm kind of a nut when trying to find the best of these cleaner/polishes out there and so this was just a sampling by myself. I've used basically every store bought product out there...
The Clay bar is just your generic piece of clay. Similar to the Mother's brand. I just use clay along with some Westley's car wash (and water) in a spray bottle for lube.
The tire stuff is just okay. It's good in that it won't spray all over the place (it's the consistancy of skim milk). The rubber doesn't "shine" but it's not bad. It still has a little greasy feeling to it (this could be good/bad).
The Z1, and Z2 (Z1 is a base, Z2 the "polish") work well. The actual finish it leaves is noticably better. Comparable to an evenly applied Mothers polish but better (like a "clearer" finish). It's not really smooth to the touch, but something about the quality of the finish just makes it look good. We'll see how long it lasts...
The Z6 after spray is okay. Total pain in the *** to spray on and wipe off evenly (leaves streaks). I'm sure it does the job but I'm gonna hold off on coating my car with it.
Anyone who's going to the Annapolis meet and/or Mariofest tomorrow feel free to see it!
All in all I'm satisified with the quality of the Z1/Z2. It does do a good job, and I'll purchase it again over your Meguires/Mothers/other stuff out there.
