Ok here it goes. Yesterday i turned on my Rex before i went out for a drive. It was warmed up already so it was idling at around the 750-1000 RPM range when suddenly it died. "No Biggie" i thought since it has happened to me once or twice. I turned it right on and it was fine until today. I Turned it on to go to school and it ran fine. After leaving school i turned it on and it died suddenly. 'WTF?" I told myself. With the key already in the ignition i turned it to the ON position without cranking the motor. I didnt hear my fuel pump. Then i completely TOOK OUT the key and then put it back in and then i heard the FUEL PUMP. It works like that sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. What can my problem be?
I don't understand how sometimes i hear the fuel pump and sometimes i don't. But after i turn it on it stays on. So i dont get it...
Please help honda-tech!!

Sounds like your main relay.
Turn your key to the on position and you should here a click and the fuel pump whining.
I had the same problem. I would be driving and my car would just shut off and I would roll to a stop and try over and over to start my car. So I searched around the web and found that the main relay could cause this.
Changed mine out and hasn't happened since...

It's by the underdash fuse box to the left. It's a kinda hard to see. Unbolt it once you find it and and unplug it. There is a way to test it...you'll have to search.
I just went to my local junkyard and bought one. $5 dollars or so.
