Hi,i need to know if an e-manage will be a good set up for my b16a2.The engine is no longer stock now,i've just put a complete set of buddyclub camshafts including the valvetrain components.Thats why i'm interested with the Greddy to alter the outputs of fuel and ignition, the vtec point,redline,etc..Is the the Greddy E manage a good product? Will i gain from it?Thanks.
The Emanage will be easier to learn since your modifying stock ecu code. You'll be able to keep whatever OBD version your at because you dont have to jumper down to a p28. You dont have to hunt around for a basemap because your stock ecu is your basemap.
I'd get the Emanage Ultimate because it does more than the blue emanage and has more points of adjustment on your fuel/ignition maps. Get a wideband o2 sensor, and a laptop and tune tune tune!
Once you get the hang of tuning, and are comfortable with your setup, then i'd go with a hondata unit or uberdata in a chipped p28.
Tuning anything is pointless without a wideband o2 sensor, without it you cannot tell what the modifications your doing are changing. good luck!
