Before anyone jumps on this posts and starts flaming, yes i did search but i couldnt find the one correct answer i was looking for so i am posting. I am into autox and i was wondering whcih seats are better from personal experience. Pros and Cons of both would be GREAT. Keep in mind that these seats are going into a Honda Civic EF si. I was wondering which seat is lighter and which has more padding and comfort. Pros and Cons would be GREAT. Personal experience would be great also (as stated before) thank you!

Integra seats OR Del Sol seats

 

Well I've owned both a 93 del Sol and a 92 Integra GSR and liked both seats for different reasons. First the Integra seats are pretty genorously padded and have decent lumbar support: great for long drives. But they lack the more aggressive shoulder and hip bolsters of the del Sol seats, that are a big plus for the cornering support desired for AutoX. The del Sol seats are about as close to a racing seat as you can get OEM and are probably weigh a little less than the integra seats, dont quote me on that though. I cant comment on the DC integra seats, but they would probably be considered a compromise between the DA integra seats and the del Sol seats. Also there is the type r recaros but thats a whole different topic, and price range. Hope this helps.

 

Both seats are simply too soft for autoX. Personal experience.

I once found myself halfway with my ******* on the e-brake with delsol seats. They didn't put those in a girly car for any reason you know.

Even any cheap bucket seat will be an upgrade over either. You could choose to swap it over during trackdays.

 

sorry dude but neither one to these seats is going to be that much of an improvement then your si seats if im thinking of the right ones. i have had some seat time in all and the si seats are a great combo of the comfort of the integra seats and bolsters of the delsol seat

 

find a race seat to put in there. you can get used ones that have expired for a decent price, and then swap your stock one back in for daily driving. besides the dc2 type-r seat, the crx seats are nicer than any of the other civic/del sol/integra seats.

 

Well my Si seats are in really bad condition even when i bought them. And its gonna be REALLY hard to find another set in good condition becuse my car is so old so i was just wondering which seat fits in better integra or del sol...im looking towards del sol because i heard they ride lower and they have better padding. But anyways....which one fits better and has better comfort.

 

del sol seats look like a maxi-pad folded in half, but thats just my opinion

who cares what they look like, thats ricer attitude. They feel great, best honda oem seat imo
