Discovered this (audio) forum after posting in the general civic 06-present forum. I have searched the site for answers, but couldn't find what I'm looking for. Hoping someone can help.

My first post!
Just got this car (obviously) and about to put in a system that will draw 700-800 watts continuous. I'm assuming that I will need a new alternator and possibly a red top battery.

Cant seem to find HO alternators for 08 civics. Guess it is too new. Will those made for 06/07 work in an 08? What's a good website/brand?
