Default My $300 1990 STD Thread

Picked up my new project 1990 Civic Standard for $300 from a guy who drove back and forth to work for 2 years then stopped running on him one day. When i bought it was dark out i could see lots of dents, nasty bondo slapped on the hood and right fender and rear bumper filler piece, who cares it was $300. Me and my roommate EFM_ookie flat towed it with his EF and found the problem the same night, it was the coil, fized it and it starts right up and smokin like a motherexpletiveer, burns about a quart of oil every hour..... anyways heres some pics after some 88 front bumper, temporary wheels and lowered.

nasty door panels

cut out radio, horribly nasty carpet

light up red pedals

Markus's, Kellen's, Mine could of had 2 more there

When i bought my car they had pedals like that. Made driving so difficult.

So far i have...
-Ditched the carpet and cleaned the floor, no rust
-Ditched the red pedals and threw on my Mugen pedals
-Ditched the 2 spoke wheel and threw on my Momo with Works Bell hub and 2in spacer
-CRX HF cluster with tach
-OEM red right fender
-88 front bumper and lights
-Tipped spoiler like always
-88 Integra front lip

Right now i'm working on...
-S2000 HID and projector retrofit

-S2000 Gauge Cluster

just oem headlights with modified s2000 projectors, ballasts and d2s bulbs

slight progress...

took out the carpet
momo steering wheel
spacer
works bell hub
mugen pedals
datum1 tow hook

also sold my wheels to garageEF and threw on some volks.

hopefully i'll get a new rear bumper, filler and put on my buddy club muffler this weekend.
still waiting for one ballast to finish up the retrofit then the headlights can go on
