why do you need to see the cluster lights in the daytime???

I've been curious for a long time as to why people think that the stock cluster isn't bright enough.
I run almost all the way dim on my daily driver EG. I have no problems seeing the cluster.

maybe I'm less blind than I thought... (glasses user and contact wearer since I was 12)

for a direct answer, light optics and LED design/expences have come a long way in the last 10 years. Most newer cars have individual LEDs for each part of the display instead of the older design of using bulbs and light bars to direct the light.
If you're serious about brightening your cluster take a look at some of the LED conversions that people have done. (google led conversion cluster)

i think he wants to custom mount a halogen bulb to the back of his cluster so he can fry his retinas

srsly if its not bright enough its one of 2 issues, burnt out bulbs or dimmer switch

it just looks 20x better than our old *** lights, the bulbs are fine and im not retarded the dimmer switch is all the way up...it just looks nicer and cleaner.

its not even about being mega bright, my brother has an rsx-s and its just normal red lights but its a full rich color, its not just my car... the only car that i know of with bright lights thats pre 2000 are bimmers....they have stayed with those bright *** orange lights since 92...

ima go look up that led conversion
