battery problems!!!!

Default battery problems!!!!

Ok i was changing my battery cuz mine was out. Well i get the other battery and try to put it on and i see that my friends battery has the +,- on the otherside of the battery then mine..?? I have already hooked it up and the car wont even come on as in the lights i mean.... Anyone knows why?

ohh yea i did try my battery and the dash lights wont come on and yes i turned his battery around to make them right i think i blow a fuse??

Nobody has had this problem? I checked all the fuses from under the hood to under the dash!!!! Whats the deal?

the new battery needs to be charged first before u use it.

well my old battery worked it just didnt have enough volts to turn the crank, cuz my dash lights still came on and now after putting the other battery my dash lights dont even come on with my old battery????

would putting the terminals on wrong hurt the power relay or dizzy or alternator?

did you recharge your battery before you used it again? maybe its just dead since you said b4 that it didnt have enough power to crank your motor over

WOOT!!! Found the problem its a was the 80A fuse under the hood for the battery and just hook my friend battery up again but right this time and it started up...!!! lol!

Just so you know for next time, honda's use reverse terminal batteries.

Honda batteries: - on left and + on right.
Domestic batteries: + on left - on right.

Or, whichever terminal gets grounded to the chassis is the negative (-)

You don't want to short your battery's (+) or it'll get really hot at the very least.
