it wont work because the 99-00 is obd2 version 2 and 98 is obd2 version 1....on the 98 all 3 clips to the ecu come out with the engine harness and on the 99-00 only 2 come out....1 stays in the car.

yeah i saw the difference on the plugs but engine is wired up already with this harness and si ecu as well so what i dont understand is in which part of wiring it up will be the problem
