im putting my ls in my eg and i wanna use the cable tranny cause i doubt someone will pay as much a i did for it, cause its a rebuilt. but if any one has done this, can u give me some advice, and possibly send pics? i could use the cable and pedal out of my ef, cause its a parts car now.

 

just fab a bracket to keep your slave,

im putting an ls wit a b16 cable in the sol, all i did was fab a bracket so that the slaves sits facing the the hood of the car...works perfect...keep your hydro system with a cable tranny!!

if i'm not mistaking hasport sells a cable to hydro kit. my friend has one on his eg

 

hasport dose sell a cable to hydro conversion but not a hydro to cable. plus id probably loose more money buying the conversion instead of selling my tranny and just buying a hydro

i wanna get hasport mounts too so do u no what mounts i have to put in it?

your reading it wrong, the kit is to use a cable trans in a hydro trans car.

a few locals fabbed brackets to mount the hydro cyl. vertically off of the tranny case bolts and it bolts to about the middle of the clutch arm.

 

you will also need a dif tranny mount my friend had a b20 swap with a cable ls in a 95 coupe and the kit came with the mount and the **** to mount the sc to work to work the clutch arm...if ya want look up intercrew autosalon they sell the kit ...

yea i thought i needed a different tranny mount. but ill take a look at the site
