where is speed sensor located

He said 90 Civic. I believe it runs off of the speedo cable at the cluster, unlike the later cars that have the VSS at the trans and have no speedo cable.

passenger side of the car. look behind the tranny and ull find a cable running up and goes in the firewall at a 45 degree or so angle. u cant miss it.

The sensor, as stated above, is in the gauge cluster.

The VSS, which the OP asked for, is on the back of the instrument cluster.
