Help - Timing balancers rebalancing?
Hi, I'm in the process of chnaging the timing belt and missed the step where one sticks the 6x100mm bolt into the access hole to lock the rear balancers. Of course it spun on me, not what??
I see a notch in the rear balancer pully and what looks to me like alignment marks on the engine, kind of like the front balancer. Do i just have to line these up or???
I read somewhere that if the balancers get out of wack, the engine "will skae like a cheap *****".
Thanks for any advice.

So the rear balancer itself only has 1 position where it can be jammed with the 100mm bolt? I looked down the access hole and spun the gear around and I couldn't see anything moving down in there.
Does the notch on the rear gear pully mean anything of importance? There are sort of timing mark on the engine that makes me think the 2 are related, but I can't find any info about them.
It's not too hard to work on since I have the motor out of the car, just want to make sure everything is perfect before I put it back in (:-

Ahhh, I got it now. Turns out I pulled the wrong access plug!!
small screw driver fit right in there and I did find that the notch on the balancer pulley lines up with the "timing" marks on the block, so I did have it right. Never hurts to 200% sure though (:-
Thnaks for your help.
