Default rear disk conversion control arm question. help please

doing a rear disc conversion in my crx and i have done everything right so far with the bigger 15/16 brake booster and the 4040 proportioning valve and i have the crx si ebrake cables ready to go, oh and obviously the teg swing arm assembly with the control arms still attached.

now i didn't find this in any of the archived content but what uca and lca do i use. the stock ones or the teg ones or a combo of both

yes i did search and that is how i got this far in my swap

i know i saw the answer to my question a while back when i was doing research on how to do this but it wasn't on HT and i cant find the site again

any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

I just did the rear disk swap on my '90 civic about a week ago and i used my stock UCA and stock LCA and it worked out perfect. Also you didnt need to go with the 15/16" Master Cylinder or the 40/40 prop valve (those are really only needed if you go with the big brake upgrade in the front). I used the stock master cylinder and prop valve and the pedal feel is better than it was before with drums. The pedal is nice and firm and the braking feels a lot smoother from all 4 corners now instead of just the front

Post when you get done and let me know what you think of the whole setup(larger front discs and the addition of the rear discs) because i have access to the EF ex sedan front brakes and i am contemplating getting them. So let me know if you think it was worth it

What Integra parts are needed for the rear disc conversion? I have a 90 integra parts car that is complete, and I need to know what to grab before I scrap the car!

i would just grab both front and rear suspension. plus the mc and prop valve.

but to answer your question about the rear conversion you just need the whole trailing arm. you could use the integra e brake cables but when i tried the they were a little to long so i just picked up some crx si cables.

just to let you know da integras and and 90-91 crxs have the same caliper and rotor.

My civic is an EX, so I think I already have the big MC. Where is the prop valve on these things? It is probably easy to find, I just havent looked for it yet. Is the sedan longer than the CRX and hatch? Will the CRX cables still work with the Sedan?

the prop valve is located just inside of the the right shock tower right by the fuse box. the sedan is slighty longer so i dont think the cables will work. i have to double check. and yes since you have an ex your mc should be a 15/16 which is the same that your integra should have.
