you can start by takin any luxury crap out...things like ur spare or subs maybe...seats that u don't need...then you can start shaving the excess metal you don't need on the chassis...stupid **** like rock shields n **** under ur chassis...then if u want, it'll cost money but i mean u could replace a bunch of **** with lighter material...dont think too closely about it...just use ur imagination ...o and idk if they're "the most effective" ways...but i mean if you put all that **** on a scale...you'll see the difference

take out the ac, heater, back seats, passanger seat, carbon fiber hood, change your seats the carbon fiber seats, air bags. this should get to 2 extra pounds less per horse power

who cares if its rare, gut the pig

If you guys are so worried about it being "rare" (its a freakin gsr for gods sake) then park it in the garage and stare at it all day...

why is it a big deal if its rare or not? its the op's car, he asked for weight loss help. its not like he can't put the parts back in after he takes them out. heres a link to help you out. hope this helps.

Diet. LOL

Seriously, get some lightweight wheels and tires. That is one of the most effective areas to both cut weight and reduce rotational inertia.
