what kinda of car do i have?
Ok so I just bought what i thought was a
91 Honda integra GSR
iv been told that they don't make a 91 GSR so I have no idea
and the other thing is that the title to my car says Acura not Honda. The car its
self has Honda emblems all around. + a GSR emblem. I know for a fact that the whole car is stock and the emblems were not put on by a previous owner.
any ideas?

They didn't make GSR's until 92-93. Check the VIN it will start with DB2 if it is a GS-R. The engine code will be B17a1. Other visual clues are the GS-R badge and VTEC badges along the moldings near the front fenders. Also check for charcoal grey interior or leather, paint-matched front lip and moldings, and a 3rd brake light in the spoiler.
firstly, check the production date to make sure it really is a 91
the emblems must have been put on the the previous owner... theres no other way.
youve also got cloth seats, im gonna assume that this is a 91 LS with some badges for bling, and it may or may not have a gsr swap in it, take a pic of the engine bay, and give us the first 10 digits of your vin, that will tell us alot more.
(edit)
btw thats a clean car and a nice price, i hope the engine is in good condition.

damn that sucks, now you gotta change your sig to 91 Acura Integra LS and your name to cris[J(D)M]B18a1 unless you actually got a B17 in there.
like someone said, take some pictures of the motor and well tell you all about it.

Not true.
92-93 GSR's did come in black, But it was a CANADA only color option.
USA got Aztec Green, Frost White and Milano Red.
Canada got the same colors but the Frost White. Instead it was replaced with Granada Black.
But that is not a Canadian model. The seatbelts are automatic.
I think you might have a 1991 GS... If you dont mind can you post the first 11 letters/numbers of the vin and i can de-code it for you...
Some basic ways to tell is if you have ABS then its a GS and possibly GSR (Which will eliminate LS and RS as they dont have ABS), Then to weed out GS and GSR. GSR has a B17A1 VTEC engine, The valve cover will say VTEC on it. The GS will just say honda motor co. Or something like that. Or the vin will say JH4DB2 if its a GSR.
The HONDA badges were added on. It's classified as an Acura Integra.

Well, I think your best bet is to take a pic of your motor and post it, your chasis and motor could very well be different and you wouldnt know it. It could be an LS chasis with a GSR motor under the hood, or even a GSR chasis with or without a GSR. Hope, whatever it is you're satisfied and it works out for you, regardless, Good Luck.
