does anyone know why i would be burning oil while downshifting.

 

Just while downshifting? Do you see smoke puffs when you downshift or something?

because oil seals inside the motor only leak while downshifting......

...excuse me that has to be one of the greatest statements on H-T lmao

 

i dont see any smoke but i do smell oil burning. i also smeel it when i get into the higher rpms (4500 and up).

 

are u sure ur not burning up part of ur catalytic convertor try a high flow or test pipe and see how that works out just a thought

 

i doubt it, but mabey
