timeing belt

Default timeing belt

i have a z6 block witha y8 head and y8 cam gear and i cant get it to start could the timeing belt be to tight? cause it doesnt turn very easy?

If the timing belt is too tight, the car would still start.

An engine needs fuel, spark, compression, and timing to start. Have you confirmed any of these?

Also, if it's cranking slowly, check your battery's voltage.

i have checked compression fuel spark and mech timeing it trys to turn over but back firese thru the intake mani

recheck your firing order with number one cyl. @ tdc on the compression stroke 1-3-4-2
