so if i cant get it for or close to 500 dont get it at all then?

he also said and i quote "i replaced most of the inside of the distributor the only reason that it could be the wiring harness is because it isnt gettin fuel and the spark plugs wont spark te engine it turns over freely and normal"

is he saying it might not be the wiring harness?

again that 500 includes the cost of getting it to your worksapce ....500 = 200 tow + 300 for car.... or what ever your tow cost....

if you are planing to get this as a car to learn on, you probly should get a running one instead, even if it runs horribly.
Nothing is worse than fixing something that someone else messed up and doesnt run due to some unknown error and is already not matching any guide cuz it is custom

and replacing the entire harness is tough at the best of times. since you dont know what he has done, that you will need to undo or fix, you will have at least twice the work of buying an unswapped car and starting from scratch.

you can trust that he will be able to tell you what he has remembered he has done. not all that has been changed. no one has perfect memory

if you can find a running crx too, get this one for parts

with these in mind, if you will have help, ask them to come with you of course

lots of luck

he just told me that he took it to a honda professional shop and he said the wiring harness would need to be replaced.

keep an eye on it
he may eventually want to dump it and you can get it for the cost of a tow

sounds like it has become a lost cause for him

and a crx on the market is rare enough to keep on the back burner

good luck, and remember it still has lots of parts, if the harness is really the main issue then you will have a good b-block to play with in another rex and body parts like lights and such
