Default Astra 777 for a Civic DX?????

hey guys, I got a 97 , 4dr dx. You know no power windows locks. I'm thinking about getting the astra777 will it work? And now I don't want remote start, I live in South Dakota where the crime rate is pretty down. I just want a good security system with lcd pager. When my car is parked out side I just want the convienence of knowing it is just fine. I've had one thing stolen out of my car in 10 years, my xm radio boombox. I guess my question is, will this be a tough first car alarm install??? And will this alarm work for my car???

Yes the alarm will work, [any alarm will].
A 97 Civic is not a hard car to install an alarm into, kind of depends on how good you are at wiring 12V electrical.

Here is a "tag in sheet" for your car... http://64.85.6.121/diagrams/pr...eID=3 94

Power door locks, if you had them, would require the connection of two more wires, so not having them is not really making the install any easier.

Power window interface is a fair amount of work and a window "module" is needed, but again, at most it adds two more wires from the alarm to connect up, so again it really does not change the amount of work it is to install the alarm. 94
