sorry 2bore you with my life story but any help would be awsome.
I just bought a 91 integra GSR from a friend a week ago
it had been sitting for about 2 months, i drove it around everyday and has
been doing fine untill yesterday,
I started in 1st from a complete stop, got off the clutch and started to give it gas. But once the RPMs hit between 2-3 the car started jolting( think of a kid learning to drive stick and pops off the clutch to fast giving you whip lash) as I give it gas the RPMs try to go up but don't/
It does this off and on constently, It seems like fuel is trying to get to the motor but is being stopped/clogged. I Thought about it maybe to do something with my injectors but im not sure. I don't know much about motors as I would like to so any help or ideas would be cool. thax

 

A 91 GSR? Im not familiar with those, what motor did they come with?

 

has a B17 block and a B16 head
I dont know if that came stock or....

 

does the check engine light come on? Could be a connection to one of the sensors, like tps or map maybe. Check the distributor wires/connector?

 

my ignitor took a crap on me and i had a similar prob i had to floor it to keep it running but could never get over 2-3 k and the tach went crazy just a thought

They did not make a 1991 Integra GSR for the US.

You most likely have a bad fuel filter.

i had similar probs with my 91 ls try fuel filter and check for injector pulse to see if pump is working properly myne would do that i changed filter pump and sending unit and i fixed it deff check ur fuel then igniton system
