Default DC Headers?

Will the O2 light come on with the DC race headers? Also how good would it work with a Re-flash?

Yes. The Secondary O2 sensor needs to read a LESSER amount of fuel mixture going through it for the light not to come on. Since the CAT is eliminated....the same amount is flowing from the Primary O2 sensor to the Secondary O2 sensor.....triggering the CEL because the computer thinks there is something wrong with the CAT....which of course isn't there anymore.

A simple non-fouler such as this one.........

............will correct this issue. It goes into the secondary O2 sensor position after the installation of the Race Header tricking the computer into thinking there is still a functioning catalytic converter. It should prevent the light from coming on.

The Reflash works good with the DCRH. It lowers the VTEC point to give you added mid-range power. Top end gains with the reflash will be very minimal. That will come primarily from the DCRH itself.

What about the Vibrant headers with the high flow cat, would the light still come on?

Maybe. It's tricky with high flow cats. I've heard stories about some people having it come on and go out intermittently.

My suggestion....just go with the full Race header and the one-piece non-fouler I posted a link to. You'll be happy.

I like the vibrant header with the cat also but like RICO said get the race header and the defowler and your good to go. I on the other hand am saving my $$ for the HighTech stage 1 kit. custom header, to go with the cams, oil pan baffles and s2k oil pump and chain. and a REFLASH for the kit
