As you can see , the Bar is really strong

Unlike the old design and most other traction bars on the market, it comes with its own 1 piece Radius rods and 1 adjustable heims . and able to adjust caster where it bolts up to the lca

Installation was very easy and straight forward. There were no bolts that were hard to get to . You re use most of the old bolts but Innovative also provides the neccessary bolts for the new hardware.

Installation :
1. Remove the old crossmember
2. Remove both front tow hooks.
3. Mount the Traction bar without the radius arms.

4. install radius arms. Bolt the front first where it goes on the bar

5. loosen up the nut on the heims and adjust length until the holes line up to the top of the front lower control arm

Size: 70.6 KB
(be sure to count the threads on the heims to make sure both side is equal length)

Tighten up all bolts and make sure to not forget the nut on the heims.

Our suspension is not together yet because we have some other parts to put in but heres some pics to give u guys an idea of how low it hangs from the bumper

Overall , this bar is STRONG , and was a breeze to install. I will keep this post updated once i get the car running to share how the performance of the bar feels !
You can contact Phil at Spooling Performance (aka Project DC2) here for the traction bar at an amazing price .

How come you have a B series swap and you still have the dust spacers on the wheel bearings? just curious

Im guessing he has the 90-93 integra 10.3 brakes/ spindles. so thay were made for the b-axles so no reason to remove the dust rings. thats how mine are.

The radius rods are the right design. Traction bars that use heims joints (spherical joints) on both ends of the rod allow twisting of the lower control arm. Not these as they are solid with no joints there. That alone makes me want to get a set. Good design!

khmi, nice install!!

i have one comment...when i did my full race bar, i measured the location of the LCA. it sounds like you simply lined up the holes with the arm 'floating' on the car. your geometry and wheelbase may be off slightly if it wasn't hanging where the old radius arm held it in place. just a thought.

on my car, i believe i had to move the arm and knuckle a little to line it up in the stock location.

The thing I don't like about it is the same reason I don't like my ETD Racing traction bar. You cannot adjust the length of the radius rod when it is bolted in place.

ETD, however, has a redesigned gen 3 bar that allows adjustments without having to unbolt the radius arms.

HAHA, I have stock brakes, I just got my suspension form the machine shop. I had to get new lower ball joint and wheel bearing pressed in. I am still in the middle of the swap. As you can tell i dont have my suspension put together yet. AND i have been lazy. LOL

GREAT COMMENT!! I forgot to write one of the missteps when i was installing the traction bar. When i bolted up the heims to the bar itself and just twisted to get the length correct and the holes on the radius rod to line up with LCA, i went too far and the rod and heims came apart. So we put the bar and the heims back together with a good amount the the thread in (1/2 to 3/4 inch) and then had to pull the LCA forward to get the and radius rod hole to line up, and bolted it on from there.

If you run SIR axles, you can keep the dust seals. SIR axles can be made from USDM axles using the inner joints from a 1990-1993 Integra and the outer joints/shafts from a 1986-1989 Integra.

Great piece.
If I still had my CRX I would definately have one on there.
I've had a few people call looking for this bar, it appears to be definately worth the $$ and wait.

if you really wanted on the car adjustability, it wouldn't be too hard to modify those..... take a double adjuster stud (left handed thread on one side... flat part for wrench in center, right hand on other side)... 1 left and right handed thread jam nut on each side and change the male rod end/heim out for a female left hand and viola... on the car adjustment.

On a side note, i'm ordering one of these today.

This is the only traction bar currently out there that I would consider buying.

Great job Innovative.

How is that a good design? This design doesn't allow any adjustment while the radius arm bars are installed. Also, what are you talking about by having 2 rod ends on each side of the radius arm bar will cause twisting of the LCA? Do you have any idea what you are talking about?
