Honda fit NA modified suspension and bolt on or keep the stock mazdaspeed 3
Just wondering what you road tracking/time trialing people would do or prefer.
Or if anyone has any experience with these cars.
Honda fit would have:
race or high perf street tires like kuhmo mx
-coil overs suspesion
- bolt on header, intake, exhaust
- race pads like hawk blue or something like that
vs mazdaspeed 3 stock
at button willow type track with same driver for both vehicles both cars street smog legal.
I know the lighter car with tires/suspension /brakes can make up a lot of time on the higher HP cars but would it be much much slower than a stock mazdaspeed 3?
thanks for any input
past cars ive had
b16 civic
integra
both with toyo ra1 tires, koni ground control coil overs, rear sway and all bolt ons
several years of tracking experience

My mostly-H2 legal hatch was running just a little bit faster than an all stock (except for tires) MS3. I was impressed. While the Fit might be lighter, its suspension design leaves a bit to be desired. Even if you throw blingy shocks at it, it'll be flawed from the start.
