DC2 Recaros vs. DC5 Recaros
I'm currently running a set of black DC2 Recaros in my 1995 Civic EJ1 coupe. I'm using the OEM EG/DC seat rails.
If I wanted to switch to a set of DC5 Recaros, do they bolt to my existing seat rails the exact same way as the DC2 Recaros?
Also............aside from the upper seat back with the different shoulder pattern, is there any difference in the way the DC5 Recaros feel over the DC2 Recaros?

Yes, the stock EG/DC Recaro rails will bolt up to the DC5 Recaros. This is what I used for DC5 Recaros in my EH2. They sat pretty high and I didn't like it. I would recommend going aftermarket like Memory Fab.
Both DC2 and DC5 share similar bolstering characteristics. I had DC2s in my old Integra 4 years ago and just had my DC5s in my hatch almost a year ago. Of course, I gained a little weight in the time frame so the DC5s felt more snug. And since the DC5s had less bolster wear, they were stiffer providing more support.
I hope my experience helps you out.
