i live in california in san jose and was wondering is there anywhere close i can do some autocross, or tracking. please let me know your recommendation or if youve heard of places.

 

look at http://www.nasaproracing.com and http://www.scca.org to start with. You can also do some general searches for autocross near san jose and hpde near san jose. That'll get you going.

 

March 8-9 at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA, which is ~1 hour north of Sacramento.

It's ~2.5-3 hours from San Jose dependent upon your driving speed, and a tad longer if you're in the East Bay traffic :-/
