I have a built ls b18b1 I am getting ready to put the water pump and timing belt on my build.I have the ls head with crower cams and crower adjustable cam gears The engine has been balanced the crank,flywheel,and such for higher revs I was wondering if I could run the gsr 22 teeth water pump and timing belt with the other stuff ie crank pulley cam gears and such being ls.....?Also the Gates timing belt anyone run one....

 

you can use gsr water pump but you have to run the gsr timing belt and the cam gears and crank gear are the same as the ls.
so gsr water pump = gsr timing belt

 

if your doing all that and revving higher you might as well also use the GSR oil pump

 

vtec oil pump wouldn't hurt.

 

Cool will the ls pump or the gsr pump over all keep my gt35r turbo ls cooler??

what do you mean cooler?? the water lines will keep the turbo cooler.

 

I mean the engine do you all think the gsr or ls pump will do better keeping the car cool on the street

 

no just better oiling specially at high RPM's
