Default Wax Questions for Winter Guru's

I noticed the other day that the weather is starting to take itz toll on my clearcoat....and it only seemed right to looking into getting a quality wax so i was wondering......how often would you guys wax a car under these weather conditions? I'm not all that familiar with the whole waxing or buffing thing but it looks like I'm running out of options up here...Washing the car 3-4 times a week is getting a bit teadious especially if I'm supposed to be up here concentrating on school

Question: What kind of wax would you guys reccommend to withstand the brutal winter weather up here?
Location: Buffalo, 30 mins. from Canada
Problem: Extreme amounts of snow, stronger salts....

any suggestions?

When ever it gets above freezing, I do a full clean of my car. This includes an underbody pressure wash etc. I wax my car right before winter and then just keep up with a spray wax after I do a wash during the winter.

I used Meguiars for a while, but came across Eagle One Nano Wax. I haven't found anything to withstand the weather like this wax.

IMO, just wax it the next time you have a chance to clean your car, even if its just the spray wax. Winter doesnt have too much more to go. (hopefully)

as much as I like meguiars' products, their waxes don't last for ****. You'll most likely want to look into a botique wax. Check out http://www.autopia.org

yea....hopefully is right. I'm in Buffalo so I'm getting the most snow possible but that was my plan. I just didn't want to pay someone to do it so i was waiting for a nice day but i might finish college before that happens....

P.S. I also heard good things about the Eagle One Nano products, I think thats going to be my 1st choice....
