the tegs can fit one 1 DIN deck and a 1/2 Din EQ with a nice aftermarket plate. that's about it.
You can also prob find a 2 din mouting plate, or 1 Din with compartment for papers/glasses and stuff..

See, I never have this train of thought in my head cause I plan on keeping her (my ITR) forever. So I do whatever I feel like.

The solution is easy. Buy a generic aftermarket head unit mounting kit, and make it work with that. $20 max, and your stock stuff goes in your closet.

Nope. If you can make it fit up front then it should fit in the back as well...at least from my memory. When you think about it, that tray they made under the radio is pretty useless...can't put anything in there unless you want it to fly out while your driving.
I can make the face dimensions fit, BUT i wanna know about the depth, is there something back there that would cause it not to go fully in place??
I have the Eclipse 7002 fold out TV screen and a CD deck on the lower half. You can make it fit. You may have to do what I did though and superglue the surrounding casing. When I would hit the gas, the radio would be in my lap. Superglue is your friend. Just don't be like American Pie 2

not in the tray, with the tray out
I used to have nothing there...no tray or radio.
