ok my buddy has a 96 dx hatch back and it comes with that carburator looking intake maifold the engine blew and he put in a single cam vtec engine D15b (jdm) and the car starts but when you give it gas it bogs and if you hole it long enought then it will shut off!! he didnt put the dx maifold he put the one that came with the engine with looks like the D16Y8 mailfold!!))))))))note the vtec isnt connected theres no ecu for it yet but it sill has check engine!!! and i try to find out the codes by jumping the wires for my and you know how when you turn the key the check engine light turns on then off well the one right when its supose to turn off the stays clicked on!!! so i dont know what the hell is going on!!
