Default skunk 2 tb getting stuck

as the title says i had a skunk 2 tb and mani installed today and as i go to drive it the throttle body is getting lightly stuck when it is closed (without accelerating)... the car feels good once i get past that point where it is stuck but is there anything i can do so it won't stick?

adjust the screw for the butterfly. Its easier to do with the TB off the car.

it is in in the instructions that came with the TB if you have them

would that be the same screw to adjust idle? or is this screw somewhere else on the tb?

no, different.

the screw controlling the throttle plate return is tiny and nearly impossible to adjust while it is on the car. It's easiest to take the TB off then adjust it accordingly.

It's not a Skunk2 TB, but the basic setup is the same regarding the location of the throttle return screw. It is the small bolt/nut located on the bottom side of the TB Pulley

hope that helps

thanks it helps, but it seems the throttle plate fits too tight inside the throttle body so how would adjusting the bolt help? could you shave a little of either the butterfly or the throttle body so it opens up more smoothly?

adjusting the screw will stop the butterfly from getting stuck. it keeps it a very slight angle. You need to remove it, adjust the screw so that it looks completly closed but does not stick. open it and let it snap shut a few time to make sure it will take a few adjustments to get it just right but thats what you have to do.

Tightening the small screw will open it slowly. Loosening that screw is doing the opposite of what you want.
