Default Wierd .... Rev-limiter at 6600-6800 RPM

well i just recently got my EG swapped with a JDM SIRII Engine and hydro tranny ....... Im currently running the stock P30 Computer the engine is stock other than intake and a breather ....... the car runs and drives great pops vtec HARD and nice ....... but it wont let me rev past 6600-6800 RPM not at idle or when driving ..... what could be causing this ..... should i get the p30 chipped and tuned .... would that help ..... i also have an apexi vtec controller .... but everything is at factory settings on that as well....... ?????

get rid of the VTEC controller, and see what happens.

Make sure you have the right ECU in the car. I read in one of your other posts that you sent it out to be done. Just take the kick panel off and look and see if you have the right ECU. Its possible that the guy screwed you.

check the ignition timing.
