so im done wit my jdm front conversion but i noticed that the cable for the hood is too short. can i use my original one or i have to buy a longer cable
this is how it looks like before i had put the jdm radiator support

 

You need one from the previous generation Integra.

Not for 1997 though! Putting a JDM front end on your 1997 is like humping your sister. You just don't even think about that kind of crap let alone do it. Unless you live in Alabama. Then JDM front ends and sister humping is ok.

Back on topic. Get a hood cable and assembly from a 90-93 Integra.

But all you need is the hood cable, since you've already got the hood release assembly with the radiator support.

Get a 90-93 Hood Cable AND the hood latch for the best install.

Ive posted this issue i think twice and no one responded or even try to help, thats why i tried the TYPE R forum and look what helped/info im gettin,SEE THE DIFFERENCE&gt;&gt; INTEGRA FORUM=NO HELPED/TYPE R FORUM=BEEN HELPED.. thank you guys
