Pull the part that goes across your chest as tight as possible. When you start taking the turns, it should lock and hold you in. Won't work nearly as well as a proper harness, but it works.

Before I put in the harness, I used to use the sliding seat trick. Slide the seat back a couple notches, push back into the seat, pull the shoulder belt back (up) so it's as tight as possible, and give it a quick jerk down so it 'locks'. While still holding it locked, slide your seat forward. If you do it right, you will be pinned in the seat. The only problem is if you have it set on the borderline and you relax in the seat, it may 'unlock'.

It takes a few tries to get it, but it does work.

Would this seat sliding trick work in my '90 CRX Si? I tried, but I could not get the seatbelt to lock. Maybe I'm just a weakling, huh?

One addition to this idea. Before you clip the seat belt in (while your seat is slid back), twist the end of the belt around once or twice and then clip it in. Lock it (yank), and slide your seat forward. This will help keep it locked if it gets a chance to "relax" a little.

Zip ties

Just get harnesses even though you dont like em. Stock seatbelts cannot be tighten down securely at will it has to be in some way forced locked.
