so, my gsr just knocked, and im putting a JDM b18c long block in this weekend...

soo ive got a little of play money.. about 600 and i cant decided what to do!!! im not saving for anything so i figure i might spend it while the motors out incase i decide to do something

if its your daily you should just go with some rims and tires...im saying this cause i have no clue about skunk 2 cams I only know that some race spec. cams will give you a hard idle. if those aren't bad then get them. go with more hp.

yes, it is my daily

my last civic had a gsr swap in it with s2 IM s2 s1 cams etc. it was being built for boost. and cams seemed to run fine with it, they are more for boost apps, as opposed to the stage 2 is more N/A

now i have my integra, im putting a jdm gsr in this weekend and im slowly going to build it for N/A. and as of now nothing is done to the motor, i just found a reallllly good deal on some stage 2 cams.
but im also a wheel *****, i have bronze c8s on it now. and thought some red wheels would look tight.

 

red rims on a arctic blue DC ? you know what my vote is.

stage 3 skunk2 cams SON! they dont give hard idle...

I have bronze 8s too. keep the curcuit 8s and get the cams

 

ive already had slips :'( not the biggest fan. i like to stick out

thats the part im worried about with the cams, rough idle. i dont have cam gears or IM yet.. maybe i should get IM first??

the block is stock, just exedy clutch, jg edlebrock headers.

maybe new exhaust? im running 3 right now :'(

any specific brands? lots of ideas!

as for the body, i have hids, tein basics, type r lip, type r spoiler, sides and antenna shaved. not into jdm fronts, especially since i just painted the car with my 98 front. oh yeah and jdm fenders with sidemarkers

id do that it looks pretty dope with the red gt3's.just save mad cash and do your whole top end.port,polished,skunk2 valves,retainers,cams,cam gears,an tuned on hondata or crome which ever you prefure.and it would be sick.

 

i would get cams nothing wrong with c8's so keep em'

 

yeah, i could save for a while.. maybe ill buy new exhaust. cause i have local muffler shop 3" that was going to be used for boost, but never happined.. any suggestions on that?

since its only 600 you got to play with, if i were in your situation i would do HIDs (if you dont have them yet) and an ITR rear swaybar. and maybe some OEM fogs if you can squeeze that in. thats just my opinion....

 

got hids, and i want something noticeable, im not really an auto x'r so a swaybar wouldnt mean alot to me..

If you're a wheel ***** like you say go with the red gt3's, personally where I'm at NY/NJ area, everyone's got RED gt3's. They're really getting old, but if the C8's arent cutting it, go with the Red wheels, they look good regardless. My second choice would be the Cams though. More power, More better.

in MA everyone has the red gt's too. but they do look good on almost anything.

 

have you upgraded your valvetrain?? cuz if you want to buy skunk2 stage 2 cams you need to upgrade ur valvetrain, and its gonna be more than $600
