this head...hmmm
ok so my timing belt went out on me on my b17 and i got it all fixed and my head seems fine with little noise but it did it before it happened. well i want to rebuild it what should i do with it? it will be goin on my stock block with jdm itr header 2.5 exhaust. im thinking either....
type r valvetrain, cams with valve job and (P&P)? if worth it???????
buying a new complete itr cylinder head for like 1400?? i think it would be cheaper then going with option 1 maybe???
i want a streetable DD that i can have fun with i know its a stock block but and dont have funds for that part of it yet so thinking headwise. any other opinions????

you should ask for a pic / pics actually looking down the ports and of the combustion chamber. as Combustion Contraption stated, only way to tell if the "port n polish'd" head is worth a damn.
