Default How-To Install Honda Access Sedan Window Visors for EK

I never really found a how to for the 96-00 sedans. Only coupes. It took me a while but I got it all done.

Tools Needed
1. Flathead screwdriver
2. Phillips screwdriver
3. 8mm socket
4. Time

In the box you will have:

6 screws
6 washers
2 (C) brackets
6 (B) brackets
6 (D) brackets

Here is a layout of where each bracket will be going. (pass. side is pictured)

Start by loosening the door pillar and the door mirror

Next Pull the molding that the window tucks into downward so that it is out of the groove.

Next the (B) brackets will be the ones screwing into the door with the provided screws. It mounts at the front of the visor and the rear. Remember to use the Washers supplied also.

Next you kinda mock up the visor and figure where to mount the rest of the brackets.
This step takes some time but not too long. Alot of people mount all the brackets onto the visor first but I dont like that method.

For the rears Follow my pic and install the brackts (C) and (D) into the window channel. (B) will screw in on the front of the rear doors. Follow the same steps.

Once you're done put the visor onto the brackets and pop in all the clips. Re-tighten all the screws you loosened and voila you're done.

Final Results should look like so.

If you have any quesions feel free to shoot me a PM.

Thought a 4 year bump was necessary; this thread hasn't gotten the credit it deserves. Thanks a lot Jdmglenn. I had the coupe/hatchback DIY saved but it didn't help with the hardware that came with the 4-door

I had a huge problem with installing these on my sedan. I ended up losing one of the clips and spent 2 hours working on the front passenger visor. I left a few clips out and it seems to be very secure still, I hope...If the hardware doesn't hold up in a month i'd be screwed () and have to find a way to macgyver it.

I bought these from ICBMotorsports. Had a problem with the shipping but it was fixed quickly by one of their employees, whom I didn't get a name of sadly. Was a pricey accessory, but at least it's not something absolutely stupid or useless and ricey.
