i was looking at a local scrap yeard and spoted a pair of good si seats only problem the driver rail was rusted and i chouldent slide it at all i dont know how im going to remove it the skins are mint non smoker super clean no fadeing just soft pading the passenger is mint the driver may need a fome swap is it worth paying 60$ for both of them and will thay fit

 

yes they will fit in your sedan. all you have to do is change your seat rails with the si seats. they fit onto each other perfect.

 

here is a good question how do i remove the seat when its rusted stuck lol the frount bold came out the rear ones are stuck cant fit no tools to get them off how can i cut them off with out damageing them i left them at the yeard today need to know asap b4 thay find the hideing spot where i put the pasenger seat lol

 

Couldn't you reach them with a wrench? If not I'd take a hammer and some type of chisel to the rail to try to get it to move. That aside if you aren't using the rail you can try cutting it, but that'll be a very slow job.

 

thay took my pry par and pick because thay had a group of kids bash the hell out of the cars one day in the yeard i was so pissed when i needed it lol and my cuting saw died no batterys left to cut the floor out lol i will give a nother wack at it tomorow ill try cuting the rails or just use a jack laying around to jack it up and cut if out from the floor omg im so pissed i chould have gotten it if my buddys where like just leav them lol i was like f no lol then it got stuck and i was like son of a lol it sucks

 

another question is if u take the rear seats to will thay fit to just the part that u sit on the back rest im going to un skin and take to get re stiched in to one skin insted of 2 so it will fit on my ef rear

So I just tried this, the rails are not the same, the seat belt crap gets in the way and doesn't properly fit the seat pan, can you shed some light on this for me please, i really want to get these seats in also, its giving me a head ache plus no patience haha.

 

the seat pans match there all alike except there is extra bracket welded on to hold the rails so im just going to do a pan swap but i want to re do my seats because the foem is crap lol

what he said lol, im trying to do this to my car as well. But I keep hearing that you cant swap the rails cuz even if you do, youll still have to drill holes into the floor. but im not too sure.

 

oke i noticed that the 91 hatch and 91 4dr seats are the same only diffrence is the back rest there inverted i fixed that just by swaping the driver for the passenger side back rest and vice versa fits like a charm i also got to swap the leaver to move the back rest it also fits its a good swap simple just need to be done carfuly ill post the results lol

 

heres what I forgot, I have the CRX ones if that makes a difference, I gave up on them honestly, im just goin to buy a aftermarket seat and rails for my car, Corbeau makes brackets for the 4 door for like 90 bucks and the seats arent too shabby.

 

woot just finished doing a pan swap and patching some fome in the seats may need a passenger one or the inner fome i found a nother set in the yeard i may unskinn them and use the foam it its good enouf
