You will more than likely have to modify or make custom rails/brackets for DC2 Recaros to fit. EP3/RSX and DC5 Recaros are the more common seats swapped into our cars.

You'll need different rails regardless of what Recaro you get.

If you want dc2 recaros you will need to get dc5 recaro rails and etc. 3/4 bolts will bolted up if you want you can drill the one that don't line up to make it fit. hope this help.

sub-topic question, don't the dc5 leather seats have the same rails as the 7th gens?

They have similar rails/bolting points. only 3 of 4 will line up perfectly. The third must be modified but you can get away with only using 3 as it is still firmly in place.

The DC2 recaros will need to be modified quite a bit inorder to get them to fit in our civics. DC5 recaros would be easier as it is the same as the RSX seats (3/4 bolts)

The DC5 Recaro's have different seat rails, than the standard DC5 seats.
