I have a 2000 GSR with the ITR conversion. My yellow day/fog lights are out and one headlight is out as well. What bulb types are they? and where can i get them? PLEASE help if ya know!

 

If you mean you have the JDM conversion, then why don't you take the bulbs out and bring them with you to Autozone or whatever. Match them there.

If you mean an US ITR front end, then....the same bulbs an Integra takes.

If they're HIDs, I have no idea.

 

Yes it's a JDM front end. And i have been told that you cant just "buy them" anywhere. SOmeone said i will have to order them.

 

Well, I bought bulbs for mine years ago. Why don't you at least give it a shot? 30 seconds to pop the bulbs out and a drive to the parts store. Done.

Do you have HIDs or halogen bulbs?

 

They are the JDM HID's. I think the wiring might also be a little loose or something. Every once in a while i have to play with the wires to get the light to come on. Pretty much all my lights are messing up. No fog/driving lights, One of my high beams is out, and now one of my headlights are out. This sucks!!! I have so much in the motor (Just over 320 turbo'd hp) and now this crap. lol

 

I believe you can get the HID bulbs at Acura and Honda but I'm not sure about the fog light. More than likely Kragen or Autozone will have them.

 

I would start with a voltometer and check the continuity of those wires first. It sounds like there may be a problem there. When the wires check out fine then go to the auto parts store.

High Beams - H1
Low Beams - 9006
Fog Lights H3 55w 12v
City lights - 194 Wedge bulb

 

What you listed is all the types of bulbs that i would need for my headlights? I am used to my old 95 civic, this Teggy is confusing to me! lol But i sure love it!
And with the headlight bulbs, someone was telling me that i could change the colors? Like to a brighter blue, the almost purple blue, and a yellow? I can do those different colors with just a different bulb? And what is the visibility difference between all of them? Never had HID's before. SORRY!!!

Spids5 you are SOOOO AWESOME!!!! I really REALLY appreciate the help!! That helped out alot. Your picture shows that you have same as i do. Where do you get your bulbs from? I will definately be buying the OEM 4300k bulbs like you recomended. Any suggestion ideas for where to buy them? And what about my inner yellow fog/driving lights? And is the info that get RIGHT said about the bulbs exactly what we use? Cause if so that will help alot to make sure i get the right ones.

The bulbs are 9006 D2S which came on the s2000 so you should be able get from Honda.

 

Maybe you should get your wiring all redone first, then go from there.
You could blow out your new bulbs if your wiring is all screwed up.

Does anyone know where to get some bulbs cheap? I called Honda today and they want 187 bucks for ONE!!!! i about had a heart attack!! lol That is crazy!
