So whenever I try to start my car, sometimes it fires up after a second; other times I have to hold the key in the on position for like 5 seconds before it will start up. It seems like there is a hesitation. Do you guys think this is a bad starter or a problem with the wiring somewhere?

make sure spark plug wires are in right firing order. and if they are, make sure timing is right. replace air filter. fuel filter and inspect injectors.

All that stuff seems to be fine, the car started up like a charm the first couple days I had it; then it started acting up. It drives perfectly fine so thats why I just assumed it would be the starter but mabye I am wrong.
