My ED Update.....its been forever!!!!
Well i started a new topic, cuz somebody locked my old one. I haven't updated it since 06. Wow....im a lagger sometimes . Anyways, Leo is the name and this is Ruby. I've been working on her for some time know. She still looks the same except for minor things. I installed x-drilled/slotted rear rotors, a new set of rubbers( kumho SPT's), and a pair of HID's. She's also sitting on Skunk2 coiled sleeves on some gr2's ( i don't recommed this setup for anybody). A magnaflow exhaust with a megan header. Both left & right jdm tails and some other jdm ****. My CF hood is old now. I get dents every once in a while (haters). I'm thinking about painting it soon. Factory color of course. It still has the original paint. She has been good to me so far. So i decided to be good to her. So I bought her some new things. The list as follows: FF type II coilovers, Blox LCA's, Progress sway bar, Skunk2 camber kit, lower tie bar, and front strut bar. ES bushing kit( i plan not to use everything in the kit), a Prothane shifter bushing, and brand new honda access window visors(non-powered). Keep in mind this is a street car. Nothing more- nothing less. She a cruiser. I hope to have everything installed as soon as a Homie hits me up. I'll post pics of new stuff and how the car used to sit and how it sits now. Enjoy!!!!

Well I have a lil update on my parts list. I return the Blox LCA's for the more race proven skunk2 set. Let me tell you what a difference in construction. Instead of the weakass hard rubber bushing that blox have, Skunk2 has urethane bushings instead. Less deflection, more durability, and the arms are lite as hell. Also, a bit pricey. Hopefully i can get some of this stuff put on this weekend. Keep posted as I will update my progress. Take a look:

Its not totally slammed yet. it need a few more turns to get there. No point to do this. Skunk2 sleeves there're ok for the budget builder.......Full coilovers is where is at though
. Well i was able to put some parts on last night. I'll post pictures later on today.

well i have more pics from that day. Also i installed a different sway bar instead( suspension techniques ) enjoy:

I'm still messing with settings. Im probably going to mess with ride height again. I want it just right. Let me tell you, sway bar alone made a huge difference. Along with w/ brand new top and bottom bushings for the control arms. other bushings were also installed. The ride is nice and smooth at low dampening settings. A couple turns of the dial and sudden stiffness for those curving roads. Function & Form FTW!!!

thanks men for the compliments.......I have a lil update. My big brake kit is coming together as well. I thinking of going with the DA route. Since i have already most of the parts. My homeboi is trying to convince me about the 11inch brake setup. Using either type R calipers or acura legends. Well see though. i really don't need 11 inch brakes. Just have to sort out some more parts and im done. I had a close call the other day. I'm having brake issues. My MC is leaking. I had to do a sudden stop one day on the freeway and even though my brakes still work, there wasn't enough pressure to withstand the speed i was going. it was either rear end the person in front of me or steer onto the shoulder all off road status. Guess which one i pick? well yeahh........i'll post pics as soon as parts arrive.
i have a question about the lca. skunk says in plain engrish on the box, that the lca is for 89-95 civic and 90-01 integra's. now from what i have read is that the integra's are a 1/16 longer. oh well i guess the 1/6 doesn't make a dif.
oh no, i'm all about skunk 2! i'm rocking agx shocks/struts, skunk2 springs, skunk2 front adjustable upper control arm, rear disc conversion and new trailing arm bushing, rear adjustable upper control arm in the rear. now i'm looking into lower control arms for the rear. I will take pictures of my budget suspension build. once this is done. The sedan is going to get the built b16. woot
oh my bad i thought i post it. Its a D16z6. Going turbo maybe at the end of the year. Still stacking up parts. I want to build first you know. It needs a lil TLC i know.
