Default car bra

i just bought this car a couple of weeks ago and this bra is getting on my nerves because it just looks so crappy!! i was wondering what is the best way to remove it and i have it on the fenders and the side view mirrors as well . somone told me that im going to have to sand it off and just buff it up to shine, is this true?? thanks in advance!

whats is that? slime build up from the bra?
if it is, i'm pretty sure you can wet sand n buff that right out
1000 grit if its thick stuff then 2000,3000 then buff 3m rubbing compond finish-it 2 or 3 i think

Looks like the clear coat has cracked on the bra. Start to pick it off. It might take a few hours toget the whole thing. I usually use a combo of my fingers, a heat gun, and a plastic razor blade. You're going to need to buff the hood when you're done. If you have any left over sticky substance on the hood don't be afraid to use lacquer thinner. Good luck!

thanks guys! but no, this is one of those clear, tape, type bra's. its on the side view mirrors as well. so you think just peeling it off then hitting it with a buffer will do the trick?

most people dont have a heat gun but use either a heat gun or a hairdryer to make it easier to peel off. Once its off you will have to determine how bad it is before you can tell what you need to do. Don't go sanding that thing off.
