Cold start problem-'96 del Sol.
I have had this '96 del Sol S for about a month now and my biggest problem with it is that it does not want to start when it is cooler than about 50° outside. It will take about 8 seconds of cranking, start and run for about 4 seconds then die. I will start it again and it will idle up and down a few times and almost die on the down swing the first few times. If I try to drive it when it is in this state, I have to get the rpms really high to get it to move at all. After about a minute of running poorly, everything is okay. If the weather is a little warmer, or if I had been driving the car earlier in the day, I have no problems with this. It appears to have new spark plugs and both oxygen sensors have been replaced within the last year or so. If it makes any difference, the car came out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have scrolled through the posts and haven't seen this mentioned anywhere. Any ideas on where to start? Thanks for any help here.

One other thing is that the turn signal on the driver's side will flash really fast sometimes and normally others. The passenger's side is always normal speed. Both the front and back bulbs are okay. Any thoughts on this?

I though I would bring this one to the top since I posted it so early in the morning.

Ok, I have made some progress in this. When I turn the key to "run" for about 30 seconds before trying to crank the engine, it seems to start a lot better. It will still hesitate a little (not nearly as much), but it will not take as long to start and will not die like it will when I just let the fuel system prime and start it. Also, if I do this, I am able to drive it right away without it trying to die. Any thoughts on where to check next?
