Yeah I think these are getting played out online, but my wife hasn't seen one yet, I don't think anyway, and our daughter is going to be born within a month. So I wanted to make something for her.

Not quite as nice as some peoples, and it's not really a rose, but it still looks ok I think.

Looks pretty similar to the one I gave my girlfriend last year.





Basically I just took thin gauge sheet metal, a tin snips and formed it all, spot welded it and stuck it on a rod. I painted it using red, black, gold and green, the sprayed some lacquer over it.

Looks good
