I have this set-up. Its a smooth ride but a bit too soft for my taste. The drop is good for daily driving though. Not too low and not too high. The front of my car goes over the parking stops and doesn't scrape on road bumps or driveways.

As soon as I installed these I noticed a big difference in body roll compared to stock.

I wish they were a bit more stiff in the back though.

There's some very useful info here.

stock shocks aren't meant to be used in conjunction with anything besides stock springs. most people on here know how detrimental it is to the stock pieces, and as the old adage goes.... why do it twice when you can just do it right?

So, you're gonna be another one of those people riding around, looking like an idiot. Do it right, do it once. Lower springs should NOT be put on OEM shocks, especially since most of these OEM shocks are very high mileage.

You're what makes me really regret owning a Honda sometimes.

Yeah, you see em rolling down the street all the time. Might as well not even wast the money on springs and just cut the stock ones. Or, expletive, remove the springs for MAX HAWTNESS

My brother had a shop install coilovers on his stock shocks and it was bouncy as hell, but only because they didn't cut the bumpstops in half and didn't remove the gas-strut covers off the shocks.. once we did that, it rode smooth as hell to this day. People with bouncy-as-hell cars just didn't install their **** right, that's all..

I'm riding on chopped OEM springs and OEM shocks (which are probably blown) but my car isn't bouncy as hell (it's just every bump hurts, lol), everytime people ask me what kind of suspension I'm running they're always surprised I tell them chopped springs and stock shocks.... but then again I didn't dump the hell out of it as I still have finger gap all around..

I had eibach sportlines on OEM struts... they were fine and not that bouncy at all and since the drop wasnt too aggressive, the shocks lasted a while. most people dont have "extra" money for a nice/decent set up, such as Koni/Ground Control (but very cheap for the performance they provide!) so I guess the lowering springs are not a bad thing but if you want to feel a handling difference, get struts too!

whatever you do, dont mess with bump stops and cut springs... not if you care about your car!

right now Im rockin the Tokicos... Tein or Ohlins Savings fund is in effect!
