4ws Suspension Set-up
Hey, new here to honda-tech.
Just wondering if who all has a great 4ws suspension set-up.
My plan is to go with KYB AGX adjustables with H&R Sport Springs (1.3 all around i believe). Then to add a cusco front and rear srut bar. Does anyone know if that rear strut bar will work without moving the 4ws unit. I have read mixed reviews of some saying you do, and some saying you don't.
Unfortuneantly, I have a clunking sound when I turn left from a dead stop. I believe it is either the end links or left ball joint. I still need to research it some more, but if anyone can help point me in the right direction, it is much appreciated. Thanks.

you'd have to move the 4ws ecu, but it isn't worth it IMO. The rear strut bar is just for show. Besides I can't even think of another place where I'd put my 4ws ECU.
I have 4ws in a '93 and strut tower braces should work but my suspension is set-up with a cheaper brand shocks and they do great, cars in the shop now and when its done I will let you know what I got. 19's will fit though. No matter what people say will or won't fit. Mine is even lowered 2 inches with 19's and 4ws
so, a rear strut bar is just for show. I've heard it makes a difference. I guess I will have to buy one and find out the hard way.
I know that upgrading your sway bar is pointless and that it makes oversteer worse. I was thinking about going with a larger (diameter) sway bar in the rear. A

most of the reat strut bars out there that i have seen used mount from perch to perch, meaning you dont have to touch the 4ws computer.
You will however have to modify in the interior trim where the strut attachs from perch to perch.
however if you are not talking about strut bar, but welded bracing along the back of the seats then yes the 4ws computer will need to be moved.
IMO rear strut is a waste of money on a prelude anyway ...........
