the one from hondapartsdeals is the actual, real, legit, OEM foglight kit. the one from the other site is OEM "style" but not the real thing.

I would go with the Honda OEM foglight kit. For one, since it is Honda OEM, it is covered by a one year warranty (against manufacturers defect). It won't cover broken glass, but you will most likely have broken glass in any foglight you get.

Also, with the Honda OEM kit, you get everything that you need, including the zipties, that fit into factory locations, all the wiring that will clip right into your stock wiring, the relay(s), all screws, and the stock switch. The other says is has a "factory style" wiring harness. I have heard people buying the "factory style" light kits before, and they still have to splice everything in.

have you seen the instructions for the fog light install?
its no easy task, since you have to have the exact harness to fit (it has a wire hanging WTF?, but it goes directly in a connector you have to disasemble )
i would highly advise against the OEM-TYPE ones....its so much of a hassle to have to take out the bumper, and trim panels on the interior to find something is wrong...

If you have an 2007 Si Coupe, the OEM-style's fog light switch will not fit because the VSC traction switch has used up the location. The Honda factory kit comes with a new headlight switch with the fog light. Also, the Honda factory fog kit will have an indicator light on the dash.

Also if you've got a NON Si 4 door, the Honda fog light kit comes with a new light control stalk that replaces the one currently on the left of your steering column. The new stalk controls your headlights, park lights, and the new fogs.

The Honda OEM Kit does this for all 2007+ civic models. In 2006, the switch was located on the dash, but they changed it in 2007, and put the foglight switch on the headlight stalk (like you said). 2007+ models (si or non-si; coupe or sedan), will all receive the entire stalk as part of the kit.

I just got some OEM foglights. If you want OEM you should look on the classified forums here or on 8thcivic.com. I got mine brand new for $180 shipped. People are always selling those on these forums.
