well the reason i dont wanna go with the p13 is that im getting a really wierd rev problem. Its hard to explain but when im in nuetral my rpm's shoot up to like 3,000 or even 5 sometimes. but it doesnt do it when my car is completely stopped.
Oh and i dont have any cel.

and with a stock p28 my car runs like normal

so you think some ebay chip, with god knows what is on it, is going to magically make the car run better?

ECU tuning does not work like that.

Either buy the ecu that was made for the car or buy a p28 and have it TUNED properly.

well i know that... i was just saying when i put a STOCK p28 in my car it runs perfectly and thats why i prefer using a P28 then chipping it to make it rev a little higher, make vtec kick in a little earlier, and have fun with 2 step

He's not saying you can't put a P28 with a ebay sh*t chip in it. In a way though your trying to fix your car by stuffing a piece of sh*t into the ecu.

You do it your way, your car may work right for a bit but it could blow ANY time.

If you get a P28 with decent tuning software, and have it professionally tuned, your car will run WAY better, and will likely* have a longer life. (in simple terms)

You could cheap out and socket your p28, and chip it with a premade h22 base-map though. That would probably be safer than an ebay chip (jun, mugen, etc)
If you get a base-map though make sure its off some one reputable. There are lots of good guys here on H-T that should have a good h22 base-map for you.

But to maximize your mild build I'd still do as 98vtec depicts suggests. His advice is solid! Remember your car is an expensive car so to cheap out in something as important as its engine management is ludicrous.
